• If you are experiencing an issue of saying write protected when transfering, deleting,editing a file to your usb device or if you want to keep your USB device safe from damage or viruses here is a solution
1,Type regedit on start menu search and open it as administrator
2,Browse the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM
\CurrentControlSet\Control
3,Right-click the Control (folder) key, select New, and click on Key.
4,Name the new key as "StorageDevicePolicies"
and press Enter
5,Select the newly created key, and right-click on the right side, select New , and click on DWORD (32-bit) Value
6,Name the new DWORD as "WriteProtect" and press Enter
7,Double-click the newly created DWORD and change its value from 0 to 1 to ENABLE WRITE PROTECTION or change the value from 1 to 0 to DISABLE WRITE PROTECTION and click OK
8,finally, simply restart your system, and then reconnect your USB pen drive to the computer
